This review will not contain, as many do, the flow of the story before anything else. I generally find those to fill space and rather boring as well. Rather, I thought it more prudent to give my reactions on key activities containing the good and bad of the book.
I thought the flow of the book was absolutely brilliant. J.K.R's writing style has improved quite a bit since she wrote the Philosophers Stone. The story just keeps moving and moving. I do not recall a time which I felt rushed, nor was there a time that it completely dragged. I thought that the middle where Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting in a ten was a bit slow, but it was important for Harry to work things out. Was there never a time that they went some place just for the sake of going there. I will be back to write more later but there seems to be a few things I must attend to.
I just found a new blogging software that might work better for my purposes. It's a mini blog. I hadn't really heard of it until I heard it on The Tech Guy with Leo Laporte. Good show BTW. Around the net today, there has been speculation that Dell will pull their line of LCD TV's in favor of focusing their efforts on their computer products. This move has greatly confused me. I have always found Dell TV's among the best of TV's. Their quality has always been good and I know a few people who have them. Perhaps it was a few to little for Dell. As the the real reason they are cutting the line, I do not know. I haven't had enough time to do sufficient research on it. If this is indeed true, I think it is a sad day for consumers looking at decent LCD TV's.
